Difference between OPC and PPC cement?

OPC cement is available in three grades namely 33 grade, 43 grade and 53 grade (here, grade indicates the strength of the cement). OPC is most commonly used in general concrete construction. PPC is highly resistant to sulphate attacks and used in the construction of dams, bridges, foundations, buildings near sea shore where strong resistivity is required.
